The Foundation for the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester is committed to positioning the orchestra as an outstanding cultural institution in the region, in Switzerland, and also abroad.

With the help of public funding, it ensures that the orchestra is able to maintain its current size and promotes outstanding artistic projects and innovative developments of the orchestra, including the area of education projects for children and young people.
