Mirabelle Kajenjeri is a French pianist «with a unique touch, who, with a discreet smile, unleashes the greatest virtuosity – natural and generous» (La Libre Belgique).

In September 2022, she released her debut album Étincelles in collaboration with the label KNS Classical. Born in 1998 to Burundian and Ukrainian parents, she highlighted this unique heritage as a guest speaker at TEDxRoubaix (TED Talk).

Since 2024, she has been Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and a laureate of the Fondation Gautier Capuçon. In 2025, she was a finalist at the Queen Elisabeth International Competition and made her debut at the Berlin Philharmonie with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin under the direction of Tianyi Lu.

She has received numerous awards, including First Prize at the Santa Cecilia International Piano Competition (2021), Second Prize at the Kissinger KlavierOlymp (2023), and reached the semifinals of both the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition (2023) and the Cleveland International Piano Competition (2024).

Her artistic journey has been supported by prestigious institutions such as the Fondation Safran, the Wilhelm Kempff Foundation, the Lieven Piano Foundation, and the Yamaha Music Europe Foundation.

Mirabelle Kajenjeri performs internationally at festivals such as the Flagey Piano Days, Kissinger Sommer and Piano Days Cleveland, and has appeared with orchestras including the Brussels Philharmonic, Philharmonie Baden-Baden, Real Filharmonía de Galicia, Orchestre de Picardie and Orquestra Filarmónica Portuguesa.

In addition to her career as a concert pianist, she is actively involved in music education for young audiences and regularly takes part in interdisciplinary projects, including collaborations in corporate and cultural contexts.

She is a graduate of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where she studied with Anna Malikova, Ewa Kupiec, Mikhaïl Faerman and Vladimir Soultanov. She first discovered the piano at the age of five under the guidance of Natalia Grebennikova in Kyiv.

A versatile musician, Mirabelle Kajenjeri is also an accomplished violinist, having studied both instruments from an early age. In 2018, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in violin with highest distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, studying with Lorenzo Gatto, Olga Zolotareva, Ning Kam and Elizabeth Degrenand.
