The concerts of the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester are made possible by the Zweckverband Grosse Kulturbetriebe with subventions from the canton and city of Lucerne as well as indirect contributions from the cantons of Aargau, Obwalden, Nidwalden, Schwyz, Uri, Zug and Zurich within the framework of the intercantonal cultural burden sharing.
With a very high degree of self-sufficiency in international comparison, the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester is above the European level. We also have our long-standing sponsors and supporters to thank for this.
