Hae Jin Park
Hae Jin Park (b. 1996, Nottingham, UK) is a South Korean-Dutch violinist raised in the Netherlands. She began violin studies at age seven and was admitted to the Sweelinck Academy at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam one year later. There, she completed her Bachelor’s degree under Maria Milstein, Ilya Grubert, and Elliot Lawson, and also studied Baroque violin with Shunske Sato.
Hae Jin holds a Master in Performance from the Zurich University of the Arts, where she studied with Rudolf Koelman, and recently completed a Specialized Master in Orchestra with Andreas Janke and Sasha Sitkovetsky. In the 2023/24 season, she was a praktikantin with the Musikkollegium Winterthur. She performs regularly in chamber music settings and has appeared at festivals including the Davos Festival, Wonderfeel Festival, Orlando Festival, and Seeklang Festival. From the 2025/26 season, she will join the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester as a 1st violin tutti player. She performs on a Panormo violin from 1790, generously loaned by the Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds.
