Regula Schneider has received invitations to renowned festivals in Davos, Spoleto (Italy) Rhode Island (USA) and Mondsee (Austria). She has been a member of the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester since 1990 and has taught at the Kantonsschule Seetal since 2006.

In 1995 she studied jazz singing at the famous Berklee College of Music in Boston. Regula Schneider moves freely across the boundaries between singer and clarinettist, between jazz and classical music. She regularly finds the spotlight with her own classical, jazz and crossover projects. Inspired by her virtuosity and stylistic versatility, many composers have written works for clarinet and/or voice dedicated to her. Numerous recordings bear testimony to her broad repertoire.

As a singer, Regula Schneider can be heard with Kaspar Ewald’s Exorbitantes Kabinett and the Vokalensemble Zürich, among others. Further CD recordings include “Das tapfere Schneiderlein und der Wolf” and Zurich Jazz Orchestra. She sang the Season Song, “Wo bisch du deheim?”, for the music outreach programme of the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester.
