“Sisyphus” with light projection in cooperation with the Light Festival Lucerne
«Sisyphus» is an intimate and immersive programme dedicated entirely to improvisation. Its starting point is a selection of solo works for harpsichord by Bach, Couperin, Biber, and Ligeti. On this musical journey, old and new sounds merge into a unique listening experience. For the first time at the KKL Lucerne, a 270° light projection by the internationally renowned light art collective Ocubo will be presented – an immersive Gesamtkunstwerk that fuses music and architecture into a one-of-a-kind experience. The concert takes place as part of and in cooperation with the Lichtfestival Luzern.
Are you born in 1998 or later? Then we invite you (thanks to the Thomas & Doris Ammann Foundation)!
You can attend the concert with a 270° light show for free at 5:30 pm.
Were you born BEFORE 1998? Congratulations, you can choose: either attend the 5:30 pm concert for CHF 50.– per person, or go to the 7:00 pm performance (featuring big names from the classical music scene, including Martha Argerich, Mischa Maisky, and Janine Jansen).
