Adam received his first bassoon lessons at the age of ten from Pavel Feldmann in Brno, Czech Republic.
After completing his studies at the Prague Conservatory, he continued his bachelor’s studies at the Basel Music Academy with Sergio Azzolini. He is currently studying at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts with Michael von Schönermark. He gained his orchestral experience during an internship with the PKF – Prague Philharmonia and later with the Musikkollegium Winterthur.
He will be a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra in 2023 and 2024. He has also participated in projects with the Soundeum Chamber Ensemble, the Swiss Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre de chambre de Paris. He is occasionally invited to projects with the Philharmonia Octet Prague, the BERG Orchestra and the Czech Chamber Music Academy, where he was a scholarship holder from 2018 to 2023. He has performed as a soloist with the Prague Symphony Orchestra, the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2021 he received a scholarship from the Rahn Kulturfonds.
