Anna Lapkovskaja

Minsk‑born mezzo‑soprano Anna Lapkovskaja grew up in Munich. Recent highlights include role debuts as Dalila in Samson et Dalila under Thomas Guggeis, Judith in Bartók’s Bluebeard’s Castle at Opéra de Lyon and her house debut as the First Norn in Wagner’s Götterdämmerung at Teatro Real Madrid. She has appeared in Berlin, Dresden, Munich and Zurich and collaborates with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Christian Thielemann and Sir Simon Rattle. Lapkovskaja is also in demand on the concert stage, notably in Verdi’s Messa da Requiem.
