From 1994 to 1996 he was a member of the Gothenburg Opera Orchestra. Since returning to Switzerland, he has been a member of the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester.
Beat Feigenwinter studied with Walter Grimmer in Bern, graduating with a Teaching Diploma in 1986. He continued his studies in Basel with Thomas Demenga and obtained his concert diploma in 1990.
He went on to work as a freelancer in various Swiss orchestras and as a chamber musician. From 1994 to 1996 he was a member of the Gothenburg Opera Orchestra. Since returning to Switzerland, he has been a member of the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester.
His interest in the baroque cello is an important source of inspiration to him. As a member of the Dulcamara Quartet, he is also an experienced string quartet player.
