Brandon Garbot

American violinist Brandon Garbot is a member of the the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester as well as the Aviv Quartet. He is a regular guest with Festival Strings Lucerne, the Kammerorchester Basel, and the Tonhalle-Orchestra Zurich. As a chamber musician, he has also performed at renowned festivals such as Marlboro, Ravinia, YellowBarn, Krzyżowa, and Gstaad. He is a recipient of the Kiefer Hablitzel Music Prize and studied at the Musik-Akademie Basel with Rainer Schmidt and at the Curtis Institute of Music with Ida Kavafian and Arnold Steinhardt. He is also Assistent to Rainer Schmidt at the FHNW Hochschule für Musik Basel.
