Fabian Grünkorn

Fabian Grünkorn was born in Berlin in 2003 and  grew up in a family with a strong musical background. He began playing the piano at the age of six, which soon became a central part of his life. Alongside an intensive piano education, he gained his first concert experiences as a soloist and chamber musician, including several performances as a concert pianist at the Chamber Music Hall of the Berlin Philharmonie. Since 2024, he has been studying orchestral conducting in the Bachelor’s degree program at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar, where he studies with Professor Ekhart Wycik and Gregor Bühl. As part of his studies, he has worked with numerous professional orchestras, including the Staatskapelle Weimar, the Jena Philharmonic, the Thüringen Philharmonie Gotha Eisenach, and the Hofer Symphoniker. He has received important artistic impulses through international masterclasses, including the “Vasily
Petrenko’s Academy” with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Allegra Masterclasses in Sofia with Ekhart Wycik and Nicolás Pasquet, as well as the Critical Orchestra of the “Forum Dirigieren.” He also gained his first professional conducting experience with the Jena Philharmonic, where he conducted several concerts for students.
