Hannah Schoepe

German-American music educator and violinist Hannah Schoepe is a passionate about sharing the joy and connection in music with people of all generations. Her career-path is characterized by an eclectic mixture of performing, teaching and business administration. From the organizational side, Hannah was the youngest graduate in her class at Western Washington University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in international business at the age of 19. As a violinist, she then earned her Bachelor’s degree in Performance from Oberlin Conservatory and her Master’s degree in Performance from the Lucerne University of Arts and Sciences – Music. She has been a participant and scholarship holder of several music festivals, including the Voksenasen Academy – Oslo, the Round Top Music Festival – Texas, the Meadowmount School of Music – New York, and the Bowdoin International Music Festival – Maine.

In Switzerland, she can be heard on several SRF Kultur recordings, including “The Freedom of Speech” for the Dieter Amann Festival, as well as Rebecca Saunders “Skin” with the Lucerne Festival 2021.

In terms of music education and arts management Hannah has worked as a trainee in the education department of the Berlin Philharmonic, was responsible for communications for Tabula Musica and headed the social media department of the ARD Music Competition in Munich.
