Hannah Schoepe

German-American music educator and violinist Hannah Schoepe is passionate about sharing the joy and connection in music with people of all generations. Her career-path is characterized by an eclectic mixture of performing, teaching and business administration. From the organizational side, Hannah was the youngest graduate in her class at Western Washington University, obtaining a bachelorโ€™s degree in international business at the age of 19. As a violinist, she then earned her bachelor’s degree in performance from Oberlin Conservatory and her master’s degree in performance from the Lucerne University of Arts and Sciences – Music. She has been a participant and scholarship holder of several music festivals, including the Voksenasen Academy – Oslo, the Round Top Music Festival – Texas, the Meadowmount School of Music – New York, and the Bowdoin International Music Festival – Maine.

In Switzerland, she can be heard on several SRF Kultur recordings, including โ€œThe Freedom of Speechโ€ for the Dieter Amann Festival, as well as Rebecca Saunders โ€œSkinโ€ with the Lucerne Festival 2021.

In terms of music education and arts management Hannah has worked as a trainee in the education department of the Berlin Philharmonic, was responsible for communications for Tabula Musica and headed the social media department of the ARD Music Competition in Munich.
