Biografie

After obtaining his Master Class Diploma in Munich, Hans Jutz played as a substitute in the Bavarian State Orchestra and Munich Radio Orchestra.

Hans Jutz originates from Germany. He studied the viola with Gunter Teuffel in Stuttgart and then with Hariolf Schlichtig at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts.

During his studies he attended masterclasses with Thomas Riebl, Barbara Westphal, Serge Collot and Wolfram Christ.

After obtaining his Master Class Diploma in Munich, he played as a substitute in the Bavarian State Orchestra and Munich Radio Orchestra. He then spent three years as deputy principal violist of the Darmstadt State Orchestra. He has been a member of the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester since 2002.

Since working with the baroque orchestra “La Gioconda”, he has been very much committed to the baroque viola.
