Biografie

Jonas Vischi (1988) studied with Martin Ostertag in Karlsruhe and completed his Master of Solo Performance with Guido Schiefen at the Lucerne School of Music in 2017.

Jonas Vischi (1988) studied with Martin Ostertag in Karlsruhe and completed his Master of Solo Performance with Guido Schiefen at the Lucerne School of Music in 2017.

He gained orchestral experience as a substitute in Bern Symphony Orchestra, the WDR Radio Orchestra Cologne and Aachen Symphony Orchestra.

Besides this, his great passion is chamber music. Since 2014 he has been a member of the Belenus Quartet, which gives concerts at home and abroad, and won first prize at the international “Franz Schubert and Modern Music” competition in Graz in 2015.

As a soloist he has also received several awards, including first prize at the International Cello Competition in Liezen, Austria in 2012.

He has gained further inspiration from musicians including Heinrich Schiff, Jens Peter Maintz, Rainer Schmidt, Valentin Erben and Eberhard Feltz.
