Léo Hunt

While completing his Master’s degree, Swiss conductor Léo Hunt is developing an international career through professional engagements and conducting academies across Europe, South America and Asia. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, where he studies with Laurent Gay and serves as his assistant. Recent engagements had him conducting the Neojiba Orchestra in Brazil, the Orchestre des Pays de Savoie in France and the Orchestre du Festival des Jardins Musicaux in Switzerland, where he served as assistant conductor. Alongside these engagements, he continues to enrich his experience through international conducting academies and masterclasses with professional ensembles such as the Ensemble Contrechamps, the Zürcher Sing-Akademie and the Allegra Festival Orchestra. He has worked with Nicolas Pasquet, Ekhart Wycik and Roland Kluttig in Sofia, Bulgaria, as well as Christoph-Mathias Mueller in Shanghai.

In November 2026, Hunt will conduct the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande during a masterclass led by Daniele Gatti.
