Maria Moretti
Biographie
Originally from Puglia, Italy, Maria Moretti began her dance training at several private dance schools in Italy before moving to Germany to study at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. As part of the Erasmus programme, she furthered her training in France at the Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon (CNSMD Lyon).
After graduating, she worked as a freelance dancer before joining the Neuer Tanz Company in Düsseldorf under the direction of W.A. Wölfl, where she performed for four years.
Her passion for dance led her to pursue a career in dance education. She completed a Master’s degree in Dance Pedagogy at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden and has since been teaching ballet and contemporary dance to children, teenagers, and adults.
She is also a certified STOTT PILATES® Matwork and Reformer instructor, as well as a certified Total Barre® instructor.
Today she lives in Lucerne, Switzerland, where she works as a dance educator and Pilates instructor.
