Marina Viotti

Swiss‑born mezzo‑soprano Marina Viotti (born 1986 in Lausanne) grew up in a family of musicians and initially studied flute and piano before taking up singing. She won first prize at the Concours International de Chant de Lausanne in 2015 and the Neue Stimmen competition in 2018. Viotti performs a wide repertoire ranging from baroque to bel canto and has appeared as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia in Dresden, Dido in Dido and Aeneas in Lausanne and Carmen at Deutsche Oper Berlin. In the 2025/26 season she makes her debut at La Scala in Milan and gives recitals in Paris, Zurich and Vienna. (
