Biography
Rebekka Trümpler grew up in Stäfa, Zurich and received her first violin lessons from Endre Guran.
From 1989 to 1996 she studied at the Zurich University of the Arts with Mariann Häberli, graduating in 1994 with Orchestral and Teaching diplomas, and in 1996 with a Concert Diploma. In 1993 she completed the training scheme with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and Zurich Opera Orchestra. She worked with the latter as a substitute from 1994 to 2002.
From 1997 to 2001 she studied in Germany with Wolfgang Hock and Gratchia Arutunjan. In addition, she was involved in various chamber music activities. She has been a member of the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester since 2002.
