Sarang Seohyun Kim

Born in 2008, South Korean violinist Sarang Seohyun Kim gained wide attention after performing Sibelius’s concerto at the Seoul Philharmonic’s New Year Concert in 2025. She became the youngest ever winner of the 2023 Tibor Varga International Competition and previously won the Ysaïe Competition (2021) and the Cooper Competition (2022). Kim appears with orchestras across Europe and Korea and collaborates in chamber music with artists such as Gidon Kremer and Julia Fischer. She studies at the Kronberg Academy with Mihaela Martin and plays a 1753 Guadagnini violin.
