Vincenzo Milletarì

Italian conductor Vincenzo Milletarì studied at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan and the Royal Danish Academy of Music. In 2008 he founded the ensemble Le Balcon, dedicated to contemporary music and the staged realisation of Stockhausen’s Licht cycle. Winner of the 2014 Nestlé & Salzburg Festival Young Conductors Award, he works regularly with orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Camerata Salzburg. Since 2023 he has been Music Director of the Helsingborg Symphony and remains chief conductor of Le Balcon.
