Founded in 1994 as successor to the Swiss Chamber Choir, the Zürcher Singakademie is a professional concert choir based in Zurich. It collaborates closely with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and performs with ensembles such as Orchestra Mozart Bologna, Musikkollegium Winterthur and Bach Collegium Japan. Its repertoire spans early music to premieres of contemporary works, and numerous recordings testify to its versatility.
