Biography
Daniel Hofers particular musical interests include both early and contemporary music in small ensembles.
Daniel Hofer first completed a technical training as a mechanical engineer before deciding upon a musical career when he was drafted into the Salzburg Military Orchestra.
Motivated by many solo performances, he continued his studies in Linz, Zurich and Vienna. This led, alongside teaching, to engagements in various symphony orchestras in Central Europe, the Middle East and Asia. His particular musical interests include both early and contemporary music in small ensembles.
