Public Transport
We recommend using public transport for a relaxed arrival. Europaplatz at the KKL Lucerne is only a few minutes’ walk from Lucerne station and easily accessible on foot.
Please note that temporary restrictions may occur due to events in the city center.

Bicycles, Scooters & E-Scooters
Public parking spaces are available around the concert venue. For safety and space reasons, we kindly ask you not to bring bicycles, scooters, or e-scooters into the event area.

Car
Parking options around the KKL Lucerne are limited. We strongly recommend traveling by public transport.

Access & Accessibility
The Classical Open Air takes place at Europaplatz and is accessible barrier-free via all entrances. In case of large crowds, temporary access restrictions may apply. Please follow the instructions of the security staff.

Seating
A limited number of seats are available. Seating is unreserved – no reservations are possible. The seating area opens one hour before the concert starts. Please vacate your seats after the concert.

Standing Areas
There are designated standing areas as well.

Wheelchair Spaces
Special spaces are available for people in wheelchairs or with severe mobility impairments, including for one accompanying person. Registration is required by June 18, 2025, at our ticket office:

Culinary Offer
Around the concert, you will find a wide range of gastronomic offerings. Please refrain from bringing food and beverages in glass containers.
There will be a food truck from KKL Luzern and a stand from Gelateria die Berna on Europaplatz. Inside KKL Luzern, Le Piaf, Lucide and Seebar will be open – reservations are recommended (www.kkl-luzern.ch).

Furniture & Luggage
Please do not bring your own chairs, tables, or bulky items. Handbags and backpacks must not exceed A4 size. There are no lockers or luggage storage facilities on site.

Pets
For the protection of animals, we kindly ask you not to bring pets. Assistance dogs with proper identification are, of course, allowed.

Behavior & Safety
We tolerate no discriminatory, violent, or inappropriate behavior. Please follow the instructions of the festival and security staff and keep all escape routes clear.

Glass Bottles
For safety reasons, glass bottles are not allowed on the premises.

Toilets
Sanitary facilities are located nearby at Lucerne station. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is also available (accessible via the lift at the side entrance of KKL Lucerne or directly at the station).

Weather & Equipment
The concert will take place outdoors. In case of bad weather, we will inform you early about possible changes. Please use weatherproof clothing or rain capes instead of umbrellas to avoid obstructing the view of other guests.

Photo and Audio Recordings
The Classical Open Air will be recorded for live broadcast, documentation, and communication purposes. By attending, you consent to the possible use of image and audio material.
Please switch off the ringtone on your mobile phone, watch, or other devices before the concert starts.

Lost & Found
Lost and found items can be collected in the following week at the office of the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, Pilatusstrasse 18, 6003 Luzern.
Please call or email in advance to check if your item has been found.

Culinary
During and between concerts, you can enjoy a variety of offerings including ice cream, wine, and barbecue specialties – provided in cooperation with KKL Lucerne.
