Le Piano Symphonique 2027

The Piano Festival of Switzerland

We celebrate Martha Argerich’s 85th birthday – celebrate with us.

From 11 to 17 January 2027 in Lucerne

The sixth edition of Le Piano Symphonique celebrates a special milestone: Martha Argerich, the festival’s Pianiste Associée and one of the defining artistic personalities of our time, marks her 85th birthday. Together with long-standing musical partners, world-renowned artists, outstanding discoveries and the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, the festival explores the piano in all its facets over the course of a week – as a solo instrument, in chamber music and in symphonic repertoire.

Among the artists appearing at the festival are Martha Argerich, Daniil Trifonov, Hayato Sumino, Yunchan Lim, Mikhail Pletnev, Brad Mehldau, Charles Dutoit, Janine Jansen and Mischa Maisky.

Experience major orchestral concerts, recitals, chamber music, lunch concerts and special festival moments at the KKL Lucerne and the Hotel Schweizerhof Lucerne.
