The Luzerner Sinfonieorchester returns to Engelberg this season. At the Kursaal Engelberg, the programme combines classical elegance, virtuoso brilliance and chamber-like agility.
Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’s String Symphony No. 10 opens the evening – an early work full of youthful energy. In Mozart’s Concertone for two violins and orchestra, Lisa Schatzman and Sarang Seohyun Kim enter into a lively musical dialogue. Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Introduction et rondo capriccioso” brings virtuoso brilliance to the programme before Mozart’s “Eine kleine Nachtmusik” rounds off the evening with classical lightness.
The guest performance in Engelberg becomes a festive concert evening between elegance, virtuosity and summer-like joy in music-making.
