When Lucerne sings as one, Christmas is just round the corner: at the grand Christmas concert, the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester and a large family of Lucerne choirs come together to present a theatrical Christmas story for young and old alike. Accompanied by excerpts from John Rutter’s «Mass of the Children» and Beethoven’s «Ode to Joy», a puppet show unfolds, inspired by Susan Wojciechowski’s story «The Miracle of Christmas Eve» – a tale of love, grief and transformation.
And the audience? They sing along, of course. A festive concert evening for the whole family – to listen, marvel and sing together.
